New Mobile Service launched in Suva

The Vodafone monopoly of mobile phone services in Fiji has ended with the introduction of Inkk Mobile. At the formal launch, held at JJ's on the Park in Suva, the Minister for Commerce, Industry, Investment and Communications Mr Taito Waradi stated that although Vodafone may have been offering fair services, it was good to see a new player in the market. One of Inkk's main service differences is that calls will be charged per second rather than in 30-second blocks.
